Art and Life

Man, life is crazy. I am now 8.5 months pregnant. I am currently working on my capstone art piece for my masters, private tutoring, teaching, and creating for personal shows. I can often become overwhelmed, but then I think: How lucky am I to live in a place I love, with people (and animals) I deeply care about, doing the things I love, all while creating our first little member to our family.

Do not get me wrong, the last month has become increasingly more difficult, but for good reason. I get to create and also be a part of my husband’s life within the music world. I am constantly surrounded by artists, creativity, and originality. I would say I am lucky, but I prefer to use the word grateful. We didn’t just stumble upon this life. We moved to find a place that could harness opportunities for us and our children and have worked hard to be where we are.

Life is scary, but life is cool. Cheers to all of it.
